We had a great time designing for this moody, wintry shoot at the Mason Venue in Oak Cliff, Texas. We are always inspired by the weird and wonderful and had to use house favorites like orchids, hanging amaranthus, and clematis. It’s also important for us to reflect the season we are in with the designs, so we used some dried smokebush and PG hydrangeas we saved from the summer before, as well as in-season winter flowers like hellebores and sweet peas. Building sculptures with fruit is something we’ll be doing more in 2025! Best of all, this shoot was held for a cause: through the Momentous Institute of Dallas, 20 children and their families were able to receive presents for Christmas through donations made by guests attending the shoot.
